I LOVE Truth, not the tainted factual kind, filled with everyone's opinions, but the kind that brings healing, restoration and newness of life. I am reminded of the proverb, "better a slap on the face from a friend, than a kiss on the cheek from an enemy” No matter how difficult a truth is to hear, it will bring healing and wholeness as the end result.

On the personal side; I'm kind of a Prissy Southern Belle, I enjoy the feminine side of life but i'm not afraid to get my hands in the dirt if i need to. I am intensely loyal to those i love and i absolutely and fully enjoy cooking and having friends over for dinner. I am kind-hearted, but if pushed i do have a bulldog side of me, not in a mean way, but more like a "mamma bear" protecting her young. I am not afraid of confrontation and i certainly do not like nor will i tolerate "cyber-bullies"

The Starfish Story - Original Story by: Loren Eisley
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!” After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said… "I made a difference for that one.”
